  1. I believe that even with the increase in airport security nothing will change.Everyone finds a way of getting away with illegally things everyday and it isn't really noticed until a while after. Although the security has minimized the attacks on our shores, there are still many recent attacks that occured and the security couldn't even stop it.

  3. I think that airport security has slightly benefited the United States' safety since the terrorist attack. Although it helps, people can still attack places without flying in. I agree with Heleina that even though security has minimized attacks on our shores, there are still attacks that can't be stopped with security.

  4. I think even though we may have security many things could happen. There were many recent attacks that have occured and still security wont do anything about it. people always find their ways.

  5. I think that is good that we now have extensive security at airports. Before 9/11 there was no security at airports. Now its good that they check for guns and explosives. Even if security doesn't catch 100% of things that shouldn't be on a plane, it helps.

  6. Airport security has helped protect America from further attacks because it takes precautionary measures to prevent them. Even though large terror attacks are still possible, the extra security helps, and it makes some people feel safer.

  7. I believe that the airport security has greatly affected the amount of terrorist attacks.they are strict at airports with liquid and metals, however they have integrated that well so that it is not unjust or against the law.however,as much as we secure at the point of safety, there will never the less be more attacks in the future,we just need to patch them up.

  8. Airport security does help but their is clearly something else to this attack. Hiring foreign terrorists is different from terrorists coming into this country on their free will

  9. I think airport security has definitely helped prevent and limit terrorists attacks but it's not enough to stop it completely. Even though the US is constantly adding security people will always find ways to do things.

  10. The increase in airport security has helped to prevent terrorist attacks on US soil. However, terrorist organizations are advanced and have may different ways of achieving their goals. There is never going to be enough security to keep the people of America safe.

  11. I think airport security has definitely improved on avoiding terrorist attacks but not all. They have done a better job because there has not been another terrorist attack like 9/11, but there are also people who find other ways to attack that don't even need to involve planes. Increasing airport security just closes down the option of them to attack by plane, which is good.

  13. I think that airport security is a lot better. In addition to catching potential threats before they reach the plane, it also makes people afraid to even try anything because they know they will get caught.
