Image result for hurricane matthew hitting haiti

Summary:
Hurricane Mathew is going 125 mph it is a category 3 and when it hits the east coast of the US it will be a category 4 hurricane. The first place that hurricane Mathew hit was Haiti  and it left it very bad shape because they still haven't recovered from the earthquake that happened a few years ago. The most powerful Atlantic tropical storm hit Haiti with so much strength that it left houses and cars, whatever was in the way of the storm was flattened and it also left 300,000 people in shelters. It is said that the hurricane is going to hit Florida and maybe north Carolina. Mostly everybody has been evacuated from the coast for there won't be casualties.

Connection:
This can be connected to hurricane Katrina because they both are going to cause a lot of people to die or have serious injuries. it is also connected to hurricane Katrina because it is the most powerful hurricane that has hit these countries since hurricane Katrina.

Question:
what would you do if you lived in one of the countries that got hit by the hurricane?

  1. If I lived in a country that got hit by a hurricane I would immediately start campaigns, move to safety, or try my best to raise money for a new shelter. We cant do anything to stop a natural disaster, the best we can do is build when something is torn down.

  2. If i lived in an area that had hurricane problems i would leave during the event of the hurricane. I'd take whats most important and leave the rest behind as long as i'm safe thats all that matters. My cousin lives in Miami and he said they're telling everyone to stay inside and not to leave anything outside. After the hurricane i would start a campaign to repair the damages. Hopefully no one gets hurt but you can't prevent a natural disaster.

  3. I would fly out of the state and go to a relatives house until it is safe to come back. Even though my house might be robbed and destroyed, it is better then dying.

  7. This hurricane seems especially dangerous, and will wreak havoc in numerous places. If I was in that situation, I would do what I could to find a better place to live in. If that wouldn't be a realistic option, I would try to find or build a good storm shelter to stay safe.

  13. If I lived in an area where hurricanes strike, I would absolutely try to move to another country but before leaving, I would try to help out and reach out to other areas to help rebuild it again. It wouldn't be fair to just leave because of a natural disaster, but it would be nice to try to help out.

  14. If I was in one of these countries that get hit, I would try to prepare the best I can. Some people start losing their minds in these kinds of life threatening situations. But I will try my best to stay sane and not to do anything inhumane, and try to help as much people as i can while keeping my family safe.

  16. I would try and move to a different place where Hurricane Matthew wouldn't hit me. I know this is hard to do but one must adapt to the weather and try not to die.
