Summary : Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe made a visit to Pearl Harbor, he was there to show condolences to the thousands of soldiers who got killed during the Japanese sneak. Shinzo Abe came visit 7 month after President Obama went and showed respect. Two leaders wanted to use this ceremony to confirm their nation`s alliance. Shinzo Abe did not apologize for the attack but did offered condolences and asked to not repeat about the horrors of the war again. Through out all these years, Japan and United States have chose friendship and peace and their alliances have made the nations more successful.
Connection: This article connects to the Pearl harbor bombing. These two countries used to hate each other and often have cruel war and now they are coming together in peace.

  1. Yes, I believe that the U.S and the Japanese will continue to work together and forget the horrible past, but will always keep the ones who died in memory. Both the U.S and Japan have done their wrongs in the past, but the innocent lives that were lost should always be in memory.

    1. I think you are right, even though these 2 countries fought against each other and cost so many lives to be dead, they will always be remember and hopefully they get together and have a better relationship together

  2. Yes, i do believe that the US and Japan will continue to work together closely and forget the past tensions between the two nations. Although both sides have caused horrifying actions in the past, I feel they both have great regret and do not want a repeat like what happened in WWII.

  3. I believe what has happened in the past is over and that they have a new beginning. They also have a new responsibility to educate people about the dangers of creating something so powerful and dangerous.
